Middleborough High School Project - Town Prepares for OverrideCategory: Company Updates
MIDDLEBORO - This fall, town voters may have a big decision.
Voters will be asked in a special fall election to approve a debt exclusion question to fund about 44 percent, around $45 million, of the new $105 million high school project.
The School Building Committee has recommended that the school be built on the property of the current high school at 71 East Grove St., in front of the existing high school.
The committee had narrowed the 11 original site plans down to four that included two plans to renovate the existing high school and two plans to build a new school. The School Building Committee voted unanimously last month to choose Option A.
