Compass Supports Pan-Mass Challenge 2018 and Tony PinaCategory: Company Updates
Compass is proud to support the Pan-Mass Challenge and Tony Pina!
Established in 1980, the Pan-Mass Challenge motto ... More than a cause, a catalyst.
Each year the Pan-Mass Challenge brings together thousands of impassioned cyclists, committed volunteers, generous donors and dedicated corporate sponsors. They strive to provide Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers the necessary resources to discover cures for all types of cancer.
Tony Pina has taken part in the Pan-Mass Challenge for many years and here's what he said about this year:
"The ride on Friday from the NY border was grueling, with over 5400 feet of elevation climbing and brutal heat in the afternoon…but we made is safely over 100 miles and were cheered on arrival in Sturbridge. Saturday’s official Day 1 PMC start to Bourne was, well…very, very wet!!! We pulled through and made it safely despite the over 50 miles in the rain in the afternoon. Sunday’s Day 2 was glorious…cool in the morn, great sunrise along the canal to head to the finish. An awesome weekend with as much to gain as we gave...6300 riders, 4200 volunteers…and still one of the most amazing causes to be riding for."
